Heir Island Sailing School is located in the heart of Roaring Water Bay, West Cork. Recognised by Irish Sailing, our school offers a wide range of sailing and water activities from a sheltered base on Heir Island – just a short ferry ride from Cunnamore Pier.

We offer a friendly, inclusive environment where people of all ages and abilities can experience the thrill of sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, or simply connecting with nature. Our experienced instructors create a safe and supportive space to build skills, confidence, and a love for the sea.

Our customisable private tours of Roaring Water Bay, one of Europe’s most spectacular sailing areas, can be tailored for individuals, families, and groups of all ages. These guided adventures bring you up close to the region’s many islands, beaches, and wildlife, sharing local knowledge, maritime heritage, and hidden gems along the way.
