The Green Dot Irish Design Makers

The Green Dot is an award-nominated hub for beautiful, ethically-made Irish Craft and Design, based in Clonakilty.

Located in a beautifully-converted 200-year-old building, the premises also has its very own cafe, serving great food and great coffee, supporting local food producers.

The shop stocks the work of over 50 Irish-based designer-makers and a main focus is on promoting well-made, unique, handcrafted work from all over the country (and especially Cork) as well as supporting the people behind it.

The Green Dot makes its own pieces in-house, as well as commissioning and collaborating with other makers to create unique pieces.

The Makers are central to Green Dot – all are based in Ireland and all of the beautiful work stocked is made here. The makers’ stories are part of our towns, cities and Irish countryside and with every purchase at Green Dot, so much more goes back into our local communities leading to a more sustainable and interesting Ireland for all of us. These Makers take great pride in their work and Green Dot feels very privileged to showcase it in its beautiful shop.
