Seaside Alpacas

Seaside Alpacas, situated near Union Hall, between Skibbereen and Clonakilty, offers immersive alpaca experiences along the scenic Wild Atlantic Way. Run by Benjamin and Anastasia von Ammon, the farm provides guided coastal walks with alpacas, allowing visitors to lead these gentle animals along picturesque trails to a nearby beach. These walks, lasting 1.5 to 2 hours, include opportunities to feed the alpacas and interact with other farm animals like horses and chickens.
In addition to walks, Seaside Alpacas hosts fibre craft workshops where participants can learn about processing alpaca fleece into yarn, including hands-on spinning sessions. These workshops highlight the farm’s commitment to sustainable practices and slow fashion.
The farm’s programs run year-round, with varying schedules to accommodate weekdays, weekends, and peak tourist seasons. Private and corporate group bookings are also available, offering customised experiences for events like team outings or school tours.
A destination for both locals and tourists seeking a unique and tranquil outdoor activity. Please note that booking is essential before visiting. For more information or to book an experience, contact Benjamin via phone or email.
