Blue House Gallery

Blue House Gallery on Main Street represents a wide range of artists working in West Cork, as well as bringing in exhibitions from city galleries and occasionally, from abroad. There is a packed Summer 2022 season of shows starting with paintings by Nigel James, photographs by Richard T Breathnach, ‘Residues’ by Debbie Godsell and recent paintings by Fiona Power (27 May – 15 June).

Ceramics and etchings by Ayelet Lalor and Yoko Akino, photographs by Melanie Black and Geoff Greenham, and mixed media by Dick Richards (17 June – 6 July).

Two painters Mary E Carter and Helen O’Keeffe, photographs by Sheena Jolley, ‘Woman unremembered’ by Oonagh Hurley (8 – 20 July).

36 Views of Mt.Gabriel by Brian Lalor, ‘Under the Sun’ by Penny Dixey (22 July – 3 August).

Recent prints by John Doherty, new works by Ian Humphreys, printmaking by Johnny Bulger (5 – 17 August).
