The Sea Safari tour has proved really popular, and it explores 21 nautical miles of the coast and around Whiddy Island. This 2hr adventure is for guests aged 10yrs+ and promises to be an exciting trip out around the bay learning local history, visiting sea caves and enjoying the beautiful scenery as you go in search of dolphins, seals and many birdlife found in the bay.

Your kayaks will be collected by Bantry Bay Boat Hire so you can enjoy refreshments at the only pub on the island, Bank House, then return at your leisure for free on the ferry!

Or try the Seafood Tour, a unique experience exploring Bantry Bay, learning about the local fishing industries, including the world renowned Bantry Bay mussels and other points of interest in Bantry Bay. The tour stops off at Whiddy Island to enjoy a sharing bowl of Bantry Bay mussels with Irish brown bread and a glass of Guinness. What a perfect day out. Scheduled Seafood Tours are weekly or can be organised on a private basis by contacting Bantry Bay Boat Hire.
